Glad you found my digital photo gallery!
For a long time I’ve been thinking what should I do with all my photos. Last spring 2020 I had time to sit down and go through them. I found a lot of wonderful memories and beautiful photo series which I’d like to share with you.
This gallery is just the tip of an iceberg of all my photos, but perhaps this website gives you an idea what I do when I’m not drilling teeth. Maybe this is also a kind of diary for me to collect and save memories.
And yes, I’m a dentists who loves photographing. Light and shadows, beauty and aesthetics, nature and real emotions between people inspire me the most. I’m a sun seeker but I’ve learned to like clouds, too - the light and tones are smoother and the photo gains more perspective and interesting elements with dramatic clouds. Rough black and white photos are close to my heart, but I also like the warm colours of the golden hour, especially the sunlight of early mornings. And the magical mist! Love it! It arouses my imagination every single time.
I have photographed since 2011 as a hobby, when I got my first “real” camera. Since 2015-2016 I graduated from Helsinki Design School as photographer, and at the beginning of 2017 I started to do photography as a second profession, when I have time after dental work.
